Fiber laser Grossmann MOPA

The best fiber laser technology as standard

In our systems, we use the following as standard MOPA fiber laser radiation sources with adjustable pulse width. This allows many materials to be processed professionally and precisely.

A major advantage of the adjustable pulse width is the ability to produce excellent annealing marks on stainless steel, titanium, brass and anodized aluminium.

In addition, this technology offers great advantages when laser marking plastics.

Secure integration option thanks to interlock

Internal system monitoring and protective shutdown

A Laser interlock is an essential safety function used in laser applications. Its main purpose is to ensure that the laser engraving machine or the integrated beam source can only be activated if all safety conditions are met.

Typically this is Interlock system connected to doors, flaps or other safety barriers. If, for example, a door is opened while the laser is in operation or is to be put into operation, the interlock system immediately interrupts the engraving process of the laser engraving machine and thus ensures that no dangerous laser radiation escapes uncontrolled.

This function protects the machine operator or other people in the vicinity from laser radiation and minimizes the risk of injury or personal injury.

Thanks to the already integrated Interlock you do not have to worry about implementing a protective shutdown.

The galvanometer directs the working laser via 2 mirrors over the marking field of the laser engraving machine. It is controlled by extremely fast and high-precision motors.

Here, too, we rely on quality in all our products and therefore on a galvanometer from a German manufacturer in Munich.

Laser engraving machine FAQ: Frequently asked questions

Laser engraving and laser marking using fiber lasers

Our FAQ about Laser engraving machines is designed to help you answer the most important questions quickly and easily. We would be happy to advise you personally on this topic. Please contact us.

The INTEGRA laser engraving machine with 20W MOPA fiber laser beam source currently costs € 7,900.00 net.

The cost of purchasing a laser engraving machine varies depending on the requirements and the desired performance of the system. Factors such as the desired or required laser power, the work surface, the automated functions and the marking software vary the price.

Laser engraving using a laser engraving machine with Fiber laser Beam source fiber laser is based on a precise process in which an intense laser beam is used to create permanent markings on various surfaces.

The laser engraving machine generates an extremely high-energy beam of light that is focused on the material to be marked.

The targeted effect of the laser on the material creates a so-called laser marking, which can include various shapes, symbols, texts or barcodes, depending on the application.

Fiber lasers are very versatile and can mark a wide range of materials, including metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, glass and ceramics.

This versatility makes modern Laser engraving machines of GLT to an ideal solution for various industries, such as the

  • Automotive industry
  • Metalworking industry
  • Aviation industry
  • Electronics industry
  • Jewelry industry

Compared to traditional engraving methods, laser engraving or laser marking with a fiber laser offers numerous advantages.

These include, among others:

  • extremely high precision
  • Permanent and forgery-proof markings or laser engravings
  • Extremely fast processing speed
  • Non-contact labeling
  • Low maintenance requirements
  • the possibility to realize complex designs

Fiber laser engraving machines can be found in a wide range of applications, including the permanent and tamper-proof marking of serial numbers, data codes, logos, barcodes, 2D codes, text and graphics on parts and products in various industries.

They can also be used to personalize promotional materials, gifts and individual products.

The operating costs for a laser engraving machine mainly include electricity consumption. As these marking systems are very low-wear and virtually no mechanical movements take place, the ancillary costs for filter inserts for the extraction system, for example, are often higher than for the operation of the laser itself. The exact operating costs vary depending on the duration of use, the intensity of use and the requirements of the marking process.

Yes, laser markings or laser engravings created with a fiber laser are generally permanent and resistant to external influences such as abrasion, chemicals, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.

Our laser engraving machines can produce various types of barcodes, including linear barcodes such as EAN, UPC, Code 39 and Code 128 as well as 2D codes such as QR codes and DataMatrix codes.

The power of a laser engraving machine or the beam source installed in it has a direct influence on the maximum marking field size that the laser system can achieve. Higher power generally enables larger marking fields and more flexibility. The larger the marking field, the larger the spot size of the laser beam (beam diameter). A larger spot size significantly reduces the effective power of the system, so laser systems with larger marking fields should also have a higher power to compensate for this disadvantage.
